Steps 4 Life organized an Arts and Crafts Day at the Women and Children's House. The moms worked with their children to bedazzle some glasses and makes lots of other fun creations with paper, glue and magic markers. Then the fun part was putting on their new glasses and showing off their creativity. They all had a great time.
Super Bowl Party at the Men's House
Our men had a great time watching Super Bowl LI and while enjoying a traditional football meal hamburgers and fixings. The game did not disapoint as New England staged one of the greatest comebacks in football history. But regardless of whether the men were rooting for the Falcons or Patriots, they all had a great day watching the game together.

Steps 4 Life is grateful to our numerous sponsors who make such a difference in these families lives.

Shop with a Cop - Steps 4 Life Children
We were thrilled when our Steps 4 Life children were invited to the annual Shop with a Cop event at the Walmart in Highland. This amazing day was sponsored by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Employees' Benefit Association, San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, Walmart and other organizations. Our children were paired with San Bernardino Sheriffs and San Manual Public Safety Officers and were each given $200. The children were able to purchase items to help them be prepared for school and have a successful year. The deputies help the kids pick their items and keep track of their budget as they make their way down the Walmart aisles. Walmart donated the sales tax in order for the children to maximize their spending potential.
Smiles were all around on the faces of the children and the sheriffs and police officers. We are so grateful to SEBA, San Manuel and Walmart for the love and generosity that they showed our children.

It was a day that they'll always remember.

A big Thank You to the Kiwanis Club of Redlands for their generous donation of food for our Steps 4 Life clients. The below donations are just for one house. Each of our five locations received a similar donation from Kiwanis. We are so appreciative of the Kiwanis helping to make our Thanksgiving so special this year.

We were so moved by their kindness in helping make this Thanksgiving a wonderful event for the women, children and men in our houses.
A visit to KSGN Radio
KSGN Radio (89.7 FM in Southern California) was kind enough to host our families for a day of crafts, activities and even a visit from some furry mascots. The moms and their children had a wonderful time touring and learning about the station. Cynthia and Chris really enjoyed themselves also. Thank you KSGN for a fantastic day and your generosity for our clients.
